The Dragon opened in 2005 as a sister gay venue of The George located just up the street. This is a large, modern venue on two levels, sumptuously decorated and furbished with one of the best outdoor smoking areas of any city venue. It has a moderately sized dancefloor and features top DJs and late opening with free entry on certain nights (Mondays and Thursdays to Saturdays). This along with some of the best cocktails in town attracts a vibrant crowd out to party or simply socialise.
